United surprised everyone in their pre season friendly by turning the clock back 64 years as they took to the Old Trafford pitch playing Sir Matt Busby's 2-3-5 attacking formation and beating Liverpool 5-3 on the night. As expected possession was given away to Liverpool with United playing 5 attackers, the night started badly going 1-0 down early on but Havertz and the Ronaldo brought United ahead. The match was a ding dong affair with Liverpool fighting back several times, Gareth Bale, Ronaldo grabbed a 2nd goal and Dylan Vente on as sub got the job done. Lots of attacking football for the fans, but in a league campaign will United be so free flowing?
But the game did show the players working well together, and looks promising for the season ahead as United look to be League Champions and Cup Winners. Meanwhile off the pitch, United have announced plans for improving further their training facilities and Youth Academy set-up.

United fans are loving the gung ho approach that manager "Beckham" has adopted in pre season, after a 5-3 win over Liverpool tonight the beat Red Star Belgrade 6-4 in Belgrade. The gaffer stuck to his tactics and United were rampant again, despite 36% possession they outpassed Red Star with 22 key passes worked the ball and created so many chances they could have had double figures. It could be an exciting free flowing season for United, tonight the scorers were Cristiano Ronaldo on 3 mins and he also took the Man of the Match, Gareth Bale on 11 and 81mins, Kai Havertz on 38 and 58mins, Rueben Neves on 66mins. United's attacking threat looks a real handful for defenses with 11 goals in 2 games, and it looks like as long as they outscore their opponents its exciting for the fans, but must me nervy for the staff.
United open their season on Saturday at Old Trafford when they welcome Paris St Germain.

The new European Superleague season got started to a firecracker last night with United drawing 3-3 with Paris St Germain on opening day and main Ronaldo in the thick of the action. As expected another attacking United game with plenty of goals and shared points, PSG went 1-0 on 8 mins, United were close to being 2-0 down on 11 mins but goal was disallowed. PSG were really attacking pressure in the 1st half but united fought their way back into the match. Then on 17mins Ronaldo gets equaliser with a header, only for PSG to go down other end and go 2-1 up, PSG should have had a penalty a minute later but not given.
Gareth Bale equalised for United for 33mins, PSG went 3-2 up on 70mins piling pressure on United. Kai Havertz equalises 2mins later for United 3-3 game now, On 85 mins Ronaldo's header bounced on the line but goal not given.
On 89mins Darwin Nunez was brought down but no penalty given, the referee is having an awful match, so United have to take the point.
At the final whistle fans had seen another entertaining match for United, the boss "Beckham" seems pretty happy with his team and the team march forwards.

Rueben Neves and Ronaldo booked United's place in the final, Havertz, Neves, Vente and Blind were the best players tonight in the game and now the players can look forward to the final and possible league and cup double. The club have 4 games to play in the league, (A) to bottom place Chelsea and should be 3pts, (H) Atletico Madrid and should be winnable match. Then it could be title decider (A) Liverpool the big match and finishing with (A) Real Madrid so 3 of last 4 matches are away.
Currently United sit in 2nd place just 3pts behind Liverpool, so the Anfield game is so important and United will hope other teams can do them a favour.

Manchester United fans celebrating in Marseille tonight as United lifted the European Cup and completed the League and Cup double to delight of players, fans and manager "BECKHAM". United dominated the European Cup Final, but both clubs went for it playing 3-4-3 formations and attacking football but the Red Devils were too strong now departed Gareth Bale put on a supershow with 2 goals and the man of the match and leaves the club out of contract. Ronaldo was also on target and young Antony Elanga came on in the second half and scored a goal, Nunez had a good match with Declan Rice and Kai Havertz playing a good match in the midfield. So the season ended well with just 1 defeat in 27 matches in all competitions, and will look forward to defending their league title, European Cup and playing in the European Super Cup next season.
United have lost 7 players out of contract, and will need to build a new look defense with only 2 defenders remaining at the club and maybe a couple of midfielders.
