Leeds United football club are finalising their preparations for their debut in the new look Superleague 2 and a return to top European football not seen since the Don Revie era. The club have appointed "Gabriel Batistuta" as their manager to take the club forward, and he has assembled a good looking squad:- Keepers Edouard Mendy & Fraser Forster (two big keepers and should give good stability at the back) Defenders Jan Vertonghen, kyle Walker, B Pavard bring experience and stability mixed with youth from Leo Ostigard and P Elimby. Midfielders Jorginho, Mason Mount, James Maddison, Eric Dier, Daniel James, T Anjorin. (This area excites the fans with the defensive qualities of Jorginho, and the attacking threat of Mount, Maddison and James) Forwards Danny Welbeck, Raheem Sterling, Patrik Bamford, Will Grigg, Wahbi Khazri and Admin Adli (Plenty of goal threat from the frontline and the tricky of Sterling)
The club have announced that James Maddison will captain the side this season, with Mason Mount has Vice captain.
Off the field work has been going on at Elland Road with raised capacity underway and developing training and staff buildings to help the manager with his job.

Angry Leeds United boss with his team after the opening day 2-1 defeat at Inter Milan, Leeds had 63% possession and should have won the game except for 10 players not stepping up to the mark. James Maddison scored the goal and only player who deserves credit from a poor team, manager "Gabriel Batistuta" called his players into a meeting today to view the game and pick up on what need improving before their next match. The small pocket of travelling fans who went to Italy were also disappointed the team lost the match, and there were some booing towards the end of the match directed at the players.
